5. What will you do differently to reduce crime in high-crime areas?

Reducing crime requires consistent proactive policing and strong community partnerships.

​

My strategy will include:

• Directed patrols in high-crime areas

• Increased visibility and proactive enforcement

• Deployment of the Street Crime Unit to focus on repeat offenders and criminal activity

• Strengthening partnerships with local municipal police departments, community leaders and representatives.

• Expanding community policing initiatives

• Establishing law enforcement substations in strategic locations

Crime decreases when law enforcement is visible, proactive, and engaged with the community.
